Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

hey yanna, i have a question- i did something in photoshop (first time evr! YAY!) and when i try to download it to devianart it asks for a preview. so i made a smaller version with the required measurments (150-150 pixels) for a peview but it still asks for a preview as well. why????? and how can i fix this problem??
its either that it still too big or u just need a different picture for the preview. Try to compress ur file so that the picture doesnt need a preview, like put all the layers together in one file.
